very cute but not much padding Mar 22, 2011
By Lindsay I bought this for the baby I am expecting in a couple weeks and it arrived today, it's even cuter in person, I love the fabric but I was very surprised at how rough it was, it's not soft at all. The mattress also isn't very thick, the blanket that comes with it feels more like a changing pad than something I'd wrap the baby in. I'll just be using my own blankets to pad the basket and make it softer before I put her in it.

It's worked fine for us, but was a little disappointing Aug 10, 2011
By Pennyheart We have very little space in our bedroom and needed an option other than a co-sleeper. The basket made the most sense. Now that our daughter is 4 months and has almost outgrown this basket, I can give it a useful review.
- You can't carry the baby in it because the basket material isn't on the bottom. It needs to sit on the floor or in a rocker specifically made for this basket to be safe.
- My major disappointment was the mattress. It's developed divots where her head lies. I'd expect something in this price range to be much more durable. The cover doesn't remove easily from the mattress and when we did to wash it, it ripped the flimsy foam. I had to put a waterproof cover and different sheet over it in order to preserve the mattress, which takes away from the cute polka dots.
- Since about 4 weeks, she's loved the contrast and pattern of the fabric sides. She scratches at it and coos, and I can sometimes let her enjoy it while I get a shower.
- The blanket is useful for tummy time or letting her play on the floor, but don't use it for keeping baby warm as it could be a suffocation hazard.
All in all, I'd recommend something else for a sleeping newborn if you're short on space.

Convenience Plus Comfort Apr 01, 2010
By Pam Walters I bought this basket for my granddaughter. My daughter lives in a two story house and I felt she needed something to lay my granddaughter in while downstairs. She has been very pleased with this product. In addition, when she comes to my house she can bring the basket with her. I have seen this same product for sale at twice the price, so I feel like I received double the product for 1/4 the price!
The seller had my basket delivered in a very timely manner, which is one thing that I truly appreciated. I am a last minute shopper.
